The jury of the Ermanno Olmi Award – First Edition has been appointed. The closing event of the award, aiming to promote short films by young directors, will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Auditorium di Piazza della Libertà in Bergamo. During the evening (with free admission), the 3 finalist films will be presented and Ermanno Olmi will be honoured with a screening of his last work Torneranno i prati (Greenery Will Bloom Again, 2014), an intimate story set in a trench during the Great War.
The jury will be composed of Fabio Olmi (director of photography), Maurizio Zaccaro (director, film producer and screenwriter), Paola Suardi (communication consultant), Angelo Signorelli (artistic director of Bergamo Film Meeting) and Adriano Piccardi (editor-in-chief of the “Cineforum” magazine).
